Research Interest:

Our laboratory is focused on computational enzyme design, enzymatic catalysis, biochemical engineering, and synthetic biology. We have independently developed the computational enzyme design platform PRODA, and new enzymes can be constructed for the non-natural substrates and non-natural reactions combined with protein structure prediction, QM/MM calculation, molecular dynamics simulation, machine learning, and low-throughput experiments. PRODA can be used to facilitate the realization of biological synthesis of molecules in chemical, energy, material, environment, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
