In order to broaden the medical horizons of our teachers and students and to broaden their thinking on medical-industrial integration, the Education Department of China-Japan Friendship Hospital and the Center for Translational Engineering in Biomedicine (CTEIB) of the University jointly organized a series of lectures on popular medical science.
On the afternoon of March 12, 2025, the Center for Translational Biomedical Engineering Research invited Dr. Jiang Shan, Chief Physician of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of China-Japan Friendship Hospital, to give a lecture titled “New Advances in Rehabilitation Technology” to the teachers and students of the university. Dr. Jiang introduced the latest advances in rehabilitation technology, especially in cerebrovascular diseases and bone and joint diseases. These technologies combine robotics, material technology, computer technology, remote technology, etc. with medical technology, and have very good clinical application prospects.
In order to make teachers and students feel the charm of rehabilitation medicine more intuitively, Director Jiang Shan brought a flexible exoskeleton robot, which was enthusiastically tried on by students on the spot.
Jiang Shan, Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Postdoctoral Fellow, Master's Degree Supervisor, is the Deputy Director of Rehabilitation Hospital of China-Japan Friendship Hospital (presiding over the work). He is the former “Top Ten Outstanding Youth” of PLA General Hospital, recipient of the post allowance for outstanding professional and technical personnel in the army, “Top Talent” of China-Japan Friendship Hospital, and the “Honor Life, Honor Healer” in 2021. Recipient of “Rehabilitation Medicine Specialty Elite Award”, China-Japan Friendship Hospital. He is the vice chairman of the Youth Committee of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Branch of Chinese Medical Association, the standing committee of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Branch of Beijing Medical Association, the vice chairman of Respiratory Rehabilitation Branch of Beijing Rehabilitation Medical Association, the standing committee of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Branch of Beijing Physicians Association, and the standing committee of Remote Rehabilitation Branch of China Rehabilitation Medical Association and the secretary-general of China Rehabilitation Medical Association, and so on.
