On June 20, 2024, Beijing Society of Integrative Medicine and Western Medicine came to Beijing University of Chemical Technology for academic exchanges, which was held in the lecture hall on the second floor of the conference center. Han Ding, vice president of the Society, and Guo Xindong, executive vice president of the Research Institute of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, attended the meeting. A number of medical workers from the Society, teachers and students from the School of Information, School of Chemistry, School of Life and other colleges of Beijing University of Chemical Technology attended the meeting.
Prof. Guo Xindong welcomed Vice President Han Ding and his delegation and introduced the basic situation of scientific research of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, summarized the experience and achievements of cooperation between Beijing University of Chemical Technology and China-Japan Friendship Hospital for many years, and said that Beijing University of Chemical Technology attaches great importance to the development of medical-industrial cross-disciplines, and hoped to open up a cooperation situation with Beijing Society of Integrative Medicine through the way of academic exchanges.
Mr. Han Ding, vice president of Beijing Society of Integrative Medicine, said that Beijing Society of Integrative Medicine attaches great importance to the cultivation of young talents in Chinese medicine and integrative medicine and the transformation of their achievements, which can not be separated from the fusion of medicine and engineering, and that Beijing University of Chemical Technology has strong strength in science and technology, so he hoped to establish a long-term and stable exchange and cooperation relationship with Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
Afterwards, experts from Beijing Society of Integrative Medicine and Western Medicine and teachers from Beijing University of Chemical Technology made 14 academic reports entitled "Wound Repair after Anal and Intestinal Surgery" and "Intelligent Analysis of Multimodal Medical Data", and had a warm discussion.
The Beijing Society of Integrative Medicine was founded in July 1981, and its mission is to actively unite medical workers to build academic exchange platforms, train talents, promote achievements, and publicize the culture of traditional Chinese medicine to the public in order to promote the cause of traditional Chinese medicine and integrative medicine in Beijing.
