Faculty and students from our college visited Jiuzhou Tong Technology Incubator Co., Ltd. to conduct summer social practice activities.

Date:2025-11-05

To deepen university-enterprise collaboration in talent development and broaden employment opportunities, representatives from the School of Life Sciences and Technology at Beijing University of Chemical Technology visited Beijing Jiuzhou Tong Technology Incubator Co., Ltd. on July 22, 2025, for a summer social practice activity. The visit aimed to experience how technology empowers industrial development while building bridges for further university-enterprise cooperation and student employment.

The group first visited Beijing Junda Testing Center. For pharmaceutical startups, establishing a comprehensive in-house testing system is costly and technically challenging. Leveraging its specialized testing capabilities, Beijing Junda Testing provides precise and efficient testing services, ensuring regulatory compliance before products enter the market and helping startups accelerate market entry.

During the thematic exchange session, faculty leader Li Chao introduced our institute's research and talent development initiatives. Representatives from JunDa Testing, Endocare, and Genowei presented company profiles and talent needs, addressing students' employment concerns. In response to current job market challenges, corporate leaders advised students to explore diverse career paths: established companies offer structured systems and steady growth, while startups like Endokey offer graduates exposure to the entire process from R&D to commercialization. Students should flexibly plan career goals based on personal growth needs. The biopharmaceutical industry is currently undergoing a transformative period characterized by both challenges and opportunities—deepening healthcare reforms and restructuring of medical insurance pricing mechanisms are reshaping traditional pharmaceutical representative models, yet breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and synthetic biology are injecting new momentum into the sector. “This demands that job seekers not only ground themselves in their specialization but also cultivate an industry-cycle mindset.”

Students gained significant insights from this practical experience. They reported not only witnessing the vital role professional incubation platforms play in advancing the commercialization of research outcomes but also developing clearer perspectives on their own learning and career planning. These valuable insights will undoubtedly fuel their journey forward, driving continuous exploration in biopharmaceuticals and related fields to contribute to the industry's development.
