To continuously strengthen ideological and political guidance for youth, solidify the ideals and beliefs of young Party members, and guide graduate students to firmly uphold their ideals and uphold their original aspirations, on May 25, 2026, the Graduate Party General Branch of the School of Life Sciences, together with the Chaoyang District Community Youth Gathering, jointly held the "Taking You Into Xi Jinping's Seven Years as an Educated Youth" youth reading club. Graduate student Party members and representatives of Party membership activists from the college participated in this event, continuing the red bloodline and gathering the strength of youth to forge ahead through reading red books together and exchanging thoughts.
This themed reading session was conducted in groups for study and centralized exchange. In the early stages of the event, the Party General Branch divided the chapters into sections based on the book's content, dividing all participants into several study groups, each focusing on designated chapters for in-depth reading. During the reading, all participants carefully read the true stories in the book and deeply appreciated the precious spirit of being rooted in the grassroots, fearless of hardship, and working hard for the people in their youth. After the intensive reading session, representatives from each group took turns sharing their thoughts and feelings from reading, drawing on their own learning experiences, research life, and youth responsibilities. From the perspective of youth, they discussed the mission and commitment of students in the new era. The atmosphere for on-site learning was strong, achieving intellectual exchange and spiritual resonance.
This reading session gave everyone a profound spiritual cleansing. Guide all graduate Party members in the college to take role models as benchmarks, cultivate a strong sense of patriotism, forge an excellent style of hard work and down-to-earth commitment, transform the spiritual strength of reading and learning into practical actions for scientific research, grassroots service, and social contribution, and practice the original aspiration and mission of young Party members in the new era with youthful energy. Everyone expressed that they will draw strength for progress from the book, learn the fine qualities of being rooted in the grassroots, enduring hardship, and taking responsibility, transform their learning achievements into driving force, shoulder the responsibilities of the times with a vigorous and upward youthful attitude, and write the youthful answer sheet through practical work.
