On April 17, 2026, a delegation from the College of Life Science and Technology and the Interdisciplinary College of Life Sciences at Huazhong Agricultural University visited the College of Life Science and Technology at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, holding a discussion in Conference Room 302 of the Science and Technology Building. Fan Jinfeng, Party Secretary of the College of Life Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Yin Ping, Executive Dean of the Interdisciplinary College of Life Sciences, and their delegation attended. Cao Hui, Party Secretary of our college's School of Life Science and Technology, Wang Bin, Deputy Dean of the High-Tech Research Institute, Professor Wu Bian from the College of Life Science and Technology, and others participated in the discussion. The meeting was chaired by Wang Lei, Vice Dean of the School of Life Science and Technology, Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.
At the symposium, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the construction of biomanufacturing and synthetic biology disciplines, college development, cultivation of top innovative talents, and faculty team building, sharing experiences in running the school and construction ideas, and reaching broad consensus on the development of biomanufacturing disciplines and talent cultivation.
This exchange provided a strong communication platform for the biomanufacturing field between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation and jointly promoting high-quality development of related disciplines.
