On April 24, 2026, the School of Biotechnology at Fudan University visited the School of Life Science and Technology at Beijing University of Chemical Technology and held a discussion in Conference Room 302 of the Science and Technology Building. Yang Zhong, Vice Dean of the School of Biotechnology at Fudan University, Chen Lifen, Academic Supervisor, Professor Liu Dong from the School of Pharmacy, and others attended the meeting. Our university's School of Life Science and Technology Party Secretary Cao Hui, Vice Dean Wang Xing, Professor Wu Bian, and others participated in the discussion. The meeting was chaired by Wang Lei, Vice President of our institute, Deputy Party Secretary, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.
At the symposium, both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the construction of bioengineering disciplines and majors, key development trends in biomanufacturing, cultivation of top innovative talent, faculty team building, and transformation of research achievements, sharing development experiences and reaching consensus on long-term cooperation in future scientific research and talent cultivation. Before the symposium, the Fudan University delegation visited the National Key Laboratory of Green Biomanufacturing.
This visit promoted communication and exchange between the two schools, laying a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation and jointly advancing high-quality development in biomanufacturing and related disciplines.
