To vigorously promote the spirit of Lei Feng and deepen the construction of spiritual civilization, on the occasion of Lei Feng Month, the Graduate Party General Branch of the School of Life Sciences, in collaboration with the Chaoyang District Community Youth Center, organized a volunteer service activity titled “Volunteerism on Campus: Civilized Parking” on March 17, 2026, near Wumart Supermarket. Volunteers were recruited from all graduate students in the school. Over 40 students participated actively, demonstrating the volunteer spirit of dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress through their actions.
On the day of the event, volunteers arrived at the area around Wumart Supermarket on time and quickly divided tasks to organize the parking area. Working together, they moved each abandoned bicycle and electric vehicle back to its proper place, cleared away debris, and ensured the road was clear and public order was maintained. In just half an hour, the parking area became tidy and orderly. The students involved were diligent and enthusiastic, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and positive attitude characteristic of graduate student party members and young volunteers.
This volunteer service activity is an important part of the “Learn from Lei Feng Month” initiatives organized by the Graduate Party Branch of the School of Life Sciences. It not only helps to beautify the surrounding environment but also encourages students to internalize Lei Feng’s spirit and put it into practice in their daily lives. Moving forward, the Graduate Party Branch will continue to carry out various volunteer and practical activities, aiming to make these efforts part of regular practice. This will inspire young people to serve the people and contribute to society through small acts of kindness, allowing Lei Feng’s spirit to shine anew in the new era.
