As the 42nd Teacher's Day is approaching, to vigorously promote the spirit of educators and to build a strong atmosphere of respecting teachers, fully listening to the opinions and suggestions of young teachers, on the morning of September 9, 2026, the College of Life Science and Technology held a symposium titled Vigorously Promote the Spirit of Educators, Build a Strong Atmosphere of Respecting Teachers in Meeting Room 304 of the Science and Technology Building. The President of the School, Tong Yigang, Party Secretary and Disciplinary Commissar, as well as Vice President Wang Lei attended the meeting. Representatives of newly hired young teachers, the Human Resources Secretary, and Party Organization Secretary participated in the meeting. The Party Secretary Liu Yanhui presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, Liu Yanhui led the study of President Xi Jinping's important speech on education, guiding young teachers to vigorously promote the spirit of educators and firmly uphold their original mission of nurturing talent for the Party and the country. Next, Tong Yigang introduced the college's situation and encouraged young teachers to integrate quickly and devote themselves to teaching and nurturing students.
